The Soundtrap Anthem: Participate in our Virtual Ensemble

We are excited to announce the release of the first ever Soundtrap Anthem, a global virtual ensemble. We are thrilled to invite the Soundtrap for Education community to participate by playing along and submitting your recordings. The Soundtrap Anthem, “We Make Our World” is a piece written for full orchestra, chorus, and modern band instrumentation. The piece combines styles from the classical realm, hip-hop, drumline, pop, and rock into one epic outburst of an anthem. “We Make Our World” was written by Soundtrap Senior Education Specialist, Taylor Haun and features longtime friend and supporter of Soundtrap – Wayne Watts, Co-founder of Dream Create Inspire Tour. We want to offer an opportunity to record and play together, regardless of distance and location. Please take a quick listen to our demo recording below.

How to access the parts
Much like many other virtual ensembles, there is a PDF score that contains the instrumental parts. You will not need to write any parts, just learn and record them. When you sign up here you will receive all the instructions, score and parts PDFs and resources needed for recording.

How to submit your part
We will accept submissions from individuals and ensembles starting now until February 1st, 2022. Individual submissions are very much welcome, but we would love to see music teachers learning and recording this piece with their ensembles. We understand this could be a significant project in your classroom, so we’re giving you ample time to rehearse, record, and submit. Audio recordings are required and video recordings are highly encouraged. After February 1st, we will compile all the audio and video recordings into a beautiful video featuring our community playing “We Make Our World” together

If you are interested in participating, please sign up to stay in the loop with any updates about this project.
